About The Institute for Planets and Life

A highly interdisciplinary team of scientists at Johns Hopkins University, the Space Telescope Science Institute, the Applied Physics Laboratory, and the Goddard Space Flight Center are combining their expertise to answer fundamental questions on the origins, evolution, and prevalence of life in the Universe.

Lecture Series Support

The Planets, Life, and the Universe Lecture Series is supported by the NASA Astrobiology Institute, The Space Telescope Science Institute, the Department of Biology of the Johns Hopkins University, and the Space Studies Initiative.
