Sharing Science and Technology Career Opportunities With Young Women
Diversification, motivation, mentoring... These are just a few of the goals of the Space Telescope Science Institute's (STScI) Youth For Astronomy & Engineering Program.
STScI opens its doors to young women who are inter ested in science, math, engineering and technology careers on Saturday, May 12, 2007. This year, we invite girls in grades 6-12 to take part in hands-on activities related to space and astronomy -- real-life scientific research under way at STScI. Middle-and high school-aged girls are encouraged to share their career dr ea ms and to ask questions of and interact with the women panelists to explor e opportunities in a number of space science career disciplines.
