Cultureship: The ABC's of Leadership Jason Bingham (via webcast)

Contrary to popular belief, leadership is not the solution to every business problem or sustained business success.

The answer lies in the culture of the organization. Strong business leaders follow their organization's culture and guide with a system of beliefs called Cultureship.

Join Jason Bingham, Vice President for Trane North America and author of “Cultureship: The ABC’s of Leadership” as he discusses this practice of Cultureship. He believes that business managers who practice Cultureship know that developing and leading high-performing cultures can be learned and taught.

Backed with irrefutable evidence, Cultureship introduces this system of beliefs and illustrates how changing culture can quickly lead to better business results; how every employee wants to grow, serve, and perform; how associates ultimately own the culture; and how successful leaders don't tell, they lead. He offers practical advice in a brilliantly simple format. He delivers this through a genuine, no-nonsense approach that achieves real results.

Jason has been substantially involved in his business and the community boards including Roanoke City School Board, Mill Mountain Theatre, session of Second Presbyterian Church, and has chaired the MS Dinner of Champions.

As a Virginia Western Foundation Board member, Jason helped establish Roanoke City’s Community College Access Program (CCAP) which enables all high school seniors who meet academic and financial criteria to attend Virginia Western tuition-free. Both Ingersoll Rand and Trane are charter members of CCAP.

He is also a member of Ingersoll Rand's Global Culture Committee and the company's National Sales Council. Under his leadership and guidance, Trane has created a winning culture globally, nationally and regionally, which has led to exceeding business expectations every year of his 22-year career.
