Q:  Do the F/96 LP filters have accurate relative calibrations?

A:  The F/96 LP filters transmissions have been checked using
on-orbit calibration observations and no discrepancies with the 
published curves have been identified.

Q:  Can a specific spectral region be resolved with the prisms?

A:  Recent calibrations of the objective prisms have determined
the best wavelength dispersions and photometry for the wavelengths
1200-3000 Angstroms for the far-UV prism and 1600-4000
Angstroms for the near-UV prisms. Crossing various wide-band
filters with the prisms will help isolate the spectral region
of interest. The simulations using the foc.focprism package
are the best way to tell whether a particular feature will be
resolved and measurable (especially near the ends of the
well-calibrated regions, either on the red or blue ends).

Q:  What spatial resolution is needed to get separate spectra from
    multiple sources?

A:  Any pair of sources at least 0.5 arceseconds apart will be
resolvable at the right orientation angle. Closer pairs
depends on the flux from the two sources.

Q:  Will a specific source be detected using the objective prisms?

A:  Given a source spectrum, the foc.focprism package routine
SIMPRISM can simulate any objective prism observation to
reasonable accuracy.
