In this Newsletter we provide some updates of interest to
COS users.

Changes to the STIS Calibration Pipeline in HST MAST Archive

New STIS calibration software has been installed in the
HST MAST archive pipeline. The STIS team also delivered a
new dark correction table for data taken with the NUV-MAMA
detector which provides a better time and temperature
characterization for observations made after servicing
mission 4.

Updates to the COS/FUV Calibration

This article describes updates to three reference files which
improve the flux-calibration and flat-fielding of all COS/FUV
modes and significantly improve the wavelength solution of
the G140L/1280/FUVB mode. These reference files should
all be used simultaneously to calibrate COS/FUV data. Data
calibrated with the most up-to-date reference files can be
retrieved from the HST MAST archive at STScI.
