DECterm is a terminal emulator for windows. A DECterm session can be created by choosing the DECterm submenu item the Session Manager's Application menu or by using the CREATE/TERMINAL
command at the system prompt. Type HELP

Bookreader
The Bookreader application lets you read online documentation. There are three Bookreader windows:
To select items in any of these windows, you will need to double click with the mouse pointer. The Library window displays libraries, bookshelves, and books that you can open. When you open a book, the Navigation window appears containing the book's table of contents or list of topics. When you select a topic, a Topic window appears. CDA Viewer
The CDA Viewer application displays the contents of compound documents consisting of graphics, images, and text. Choose the CDA Viewer menu item from the Applications menu in the Session Manager. The CDA Viewer window appears along with an Open dialog box, which is used to select the file and format to be displayed. Ghostview
Ghostview is an application that displays PostScript documents using ghostscript. Ghostview and ghostscript function as cooperative programs--ghostview creates the display window and ghostscript draws in it. Invoke ghostview by typing gv
at the system prompt. More information is available by printing or viewing the following PostScript document:

xv
The xv program displays images in the GIF, JPEG, X11 bitmap, and many other formats. From a DECterm window, on a workstation type XV
. This displays an xv window which is where the image will be displayed. Click inside this window to display the control window. XV lets you rotate an image in 90 degree steps, magnify any portion of the window, determine X,Y coordinates in an image, and many other useful manipulations. Mosaic
