We would like to welcome the following new employees to the Institute:

Bruce Garrett joined the Institute as a Software Systems Engineer in the Engineering and Software Services Division/ Support Services Team on January 3, 2000. Bruce was formerly a Programmer/Analyst for Maxim Group in Linthicum, MD.

Niall Gaffney joined the Institute as a Software Engineer in the Engineering and Software Division/ Archive Team on January 3, 2000. Niall was formerly a Research Science Engineer III for the McDonald Observatory at the University of Texas in Austin, TX.

Michael Regan joined the Institute as an Assistant Astronomer/Instrument Scientist in the Hubble Division/ Observatory Support Team on January 3, 2000. Michael was formerly a Hubble Fellow for the Carnegie Institution of Washington in Washington, DC.

Fabrizia Guglielmetti joined the Institute as a Plate Processing Assistant in the Data Pipeline and Archive Division/ Catalogs and Surveys Branch on January 17, 2000. Fabrizia was formerly a Summer Research Assistant at STScI.

Elena Sody joined the Institute as a System Administrator I in the Computing and Information Services Division on January 3, 2000. Elena was formerly an Intern at STScI.

Timoth Copney joined the Institute as a Division Administrator in the Administration Division/ Business Support Group assigned to the Director's Office on February 16, 2000. Tim was previously temping as an Administrative Assistant for OfficeTeam, Baltimore, MD.

John Boia joined the Institute as a Software System Engineer in the Engineering and Software Services Division/ Planning and Schedule Team on January 31, 2000. John was formerly a Computer Scientist/ Program Analyst for Computer Science Corporation in Laurel, MD.

Khia Carrington joined the Institute as an Intern in the Administration Division/ Finance on February 14, 2000. Khia is presently a student at the University of Baltimore in Baltimore, MD

William Januszewski joined the Institute as a Program Coordinator I in the Hubble Division/ Observation Planning Team on February 15, 2000. William received his B.S. in Physics at the Central Connecticut State University in New Britian, CT.

Jonathan Sachsman joined the Institute as an Intern in the Institute Science Division on February 22, 2000. Jonathan is a student at the University of Baltimore in Baltimore, MD.

Victoria Horne joined the Institute as an Administrative Assistant in the Administration Division/Business Support on March 6, 2000. Victoria was formerly an Executive Administrative Assistant for Grant Thorton LLP in Baltimore, MD.

Gryce Quindarian joined the Institute as an Administrative Assistant in the Administration Division/Business Support on March 13, 2000. Gryce was formerly a Credentials Coordinator/ Claims Analyst for Shock Trauma Associates, PA in Baltimore, MD.

Massimo Stiavelli joined the Institute as an Associate Astronomer in the Institute Science Division on March 20, 2000. Massimo was formerly an ESA Scientist in Baltimore, MD.
