Ну ежели EQ-6 за бугром около $1000 стоит, то весь телескоп врятли дешевле $2500 будет.

Hi Friends,

A few know that we deal with all kind of manufactors. In past few month we heard some storrys about a new mount from
Synta in china , called EQ6. A few protoypes have been on the market untilnow the finalimproved modell weas finished.
We received today such new and final model of the EQ6 and I feel, this is an extremly good mount for the TMB Apo
buyers with not the biggest budget.

Here my initial impression :
The mount arrives in 2 carton boxes Box Nr.1, stainless tripod with 3 legs, 2 counterweights and accessorie tray ala
Meade Tripods Box Nr.2, Equatorial Head with dual axis handcontroller and batteriholder and Polarfinder..

technical specification:

Dec. axis : 38 mm diameter ( 1.5 inch), lenght 260 mm, material steel
RA axis: 39 mm diameter (1.53 inch), lenght 210 mm, material steel
Support of bnoth axis: 3 x groovebearings 68 mm diameter ( 2.68 inch), 1 x ballbearing 55 mm ( 2.17 inch in DEC.)
and 73 mm ( 2.87 inch in RA)
teeth-worm: 47 teeth diameter 39 mm ( 1.53 inch), material brass

The Tripod :
It is made from Stainless steel in similar way as the INTES MICRO ALTER D6 tripod adjustable in high from 670 mm
(26.4 inch) to 114.5mm (45 inch). The weight of the tripod is 7.4 kg (16.28 lbs) and the adjustment fixing is made by an
Shimano styled quick clamp.

2 counterweights are includet, each weights 5.4 kg ( 11.88lbs)with an inside hole for counterweight shafts with an
diameter of 21 mm ( 0.83 inch), same size as used on Synta EQ5 Mount,Vixen Mounts and GR2 DX Mounts.

The Mount itself :
weight of equatorial head weights 17.0 kg (37.4 lbs) which is 2.2 lbs less than the William optics GT1 Mount. It comes
like Takahahsi EM 200 with an reractable and extratable counterweight shaft with an diameter of 18 mm ( 0.71 inch) and
24cm (0.98 inch) long, an build in simple Polarfinder with focusing eyepiece ( nonilluminated, but the Vixen GP illuminator
fits perfectly to this mount, so its not a big deal for upgrate). Both axis are locked down again ala Takahahsi EM 200 with
2 handclamps. The height of the mount from tripod support to railplate is 40 cm ( 16 inch), so the lowest possible high
with tripod is 107 cm (42.1 inch) and the maximum heigh is 154 cm (60.8 inch). Both axis are made from steel with an
diameter of about 1.4 inch, both gears have an diameter of about 4 inch. The telescope support is made similar to Vixen
and accepts the rails from Synta, Vixen and INTES and GR2 Dx Mounts, which holds the rails by 2 handclamps.
The setting circles are rotatable so Startime alignment is no problem. The Mount is black powder coated and looks very
similar to the William GT1 or Vixen Atlux.

The Drivecontroller :
A small black handbox , looking similar as the unit used on the EQ5 Mount or Old Vixen SD1 controller,it comes with
Northern and Southern polarity and 2x,8x,and 16x siderial speed.

Overal Impression from Daytime testing :
I compared the mount by using several telescopes on it against the Losmandy GM8, G11 and William GT1-HD. The
EQ6 is rock solid ,much more stabel than the GM8 , somewhat more stable than the G11 and in the at least same class
for loading as the GT-1 mount. I used an Celestron 14 on it , no problem at all, I used an heavy TMB 6"F/8 on it, no
problem, I used an TMB 175/1400 on it , this is the max. limit, however an more stable tripod would allow even this
heavy 7" Apo with good results. Polaradjustment can be made from 0њ degree till 90њ degree.

Than I used an crosshair eyepiece plus barlowlens to observe at 600 power to see how the motors and gears are
working. There was not any shift visible by nacked eye, which gives me the impression the periodic error is far less than
claimed from the manufactor.

The Motors are runing at any speed without any noise, even my AP 1200 and Pentax MS-4 are more noisy than this
mount.

In Germany we are now working on such drive upgrates. The first thing will be, we connecting now the Baader
Planetrium sold MTS 3SLP Drive controller which is available with diffrent options.

Теперь понятно, почему эта монтировка (EQ-6) сильно дороже EQ-5, добавили таки китайцы в нее железа, а пятая вся из силумина.

Надеюсь, что как только данный телескоп поступит в продажу, он будет доступен в России. Очень постараемся это обеспечить!

Во-первых, цена этого инструмента в России никак не будет выше 2000 $, а я думаю - ниже...
Теперь о преимуществах этого инструмента...
1) Лучшая монтировка для российского рынка (продвинутых любителей астрономии) по соотношению цена/качество, позволяющая серьезно заниматься астрофотографией и ПЗС-наблюдениями.
2) 25-см Ньютон - наиболее дешевый инструмент с этим диаметром и при этом практически универсальный.
3) Инструмент, который не требует никакие серьезных переделок или апгрейдов для того, чтобы с ним полноценно наблюдать ( в отличии от LX200 и т. п.).
Думаю, что этого уже достаточно.
Считаю также, что этот инструмент гораздо более сбалансирован, чем LXD55-серия Meade...

И кто этим счастьем собирается торговать?
