Space vehicle "Magellan".
The most detailed snapshots of Venus's surface were made with the help of the american apparatus "Magellan", lanched by the astronauts of a Space membership "Atlantis" in May 1989. The regular radiolocation servey, leading for several years, allowed to get the Venus surface survey with resolution not less than 300 m.
