Star-shaped hour of Michaelo Lomonosov.
All his life Lomonosov was not alien to astronomy. He was born in Cholmogory - a village where one generation before him saw the first Russian observatory and Lomonosov was able to use the angle gaude. But the "star time" for Lomonosov became when he was 50.
In May 26,1761 the european astronomers snuggled up to the eye-pieces of the telescopes. They watched the trembling edge of the Sun, where the disk of Venus the planet should appear. One of the first actions was observing it not according to the general programme, but "mostly for curiosity for physical notions". Owing to his astronomical view the scientist made a discovery: "Venus is surrounded by rich atmosphere". This is the most wonderful discovery of the XVIII century. He wanted to develop it further. Lomonosov was preparing the new means of observation. He constructed and improved "the night seeing tubes". According his own scheme he made a telescope-reflector with a slope main mirror without an extra one and after its testing he came to the conclusion that "the invention actuated with the desirable effect". But the atmosphere of Venus was so "rich" that no only during four last years of Lomonosov's life, but even two centuries after his death the astronomers didn't go far away from his investigations. 200 years exactly after "the star year" of Lomonosov in 1961 the Soviet spaceship - the first in the world went to Venus. Radioastronomy and astronautics unraved mysteries of Venus.
