Albedo (from the last Latin albedo - whiteness) is a value characterising the surface ability to reflect the falling flood of the electromagnetic radiation. Albedo is equal to the ratio of the reflected flood to the falling one. Albedo is an important characteristic of the planets and other bodies of the Solar system.
