If you have access to the excellent text-based email program Pine and wish to forward a bunch of emails from some account to your Gmail account, here's how:
(from Gil in the orkut Gmail forums)

Go to the: Main Menu->Setup->Config: (type "msc") then scroll through the list of options and turn on:
-enable-bounce-cmd
-enable-aggregate-command-set

exit the configuration and save your changes, and go into the folder with the messages you want to bounce (redirect).

Type ";aab" for:(select->all->apply->bounce)

Then enter your Gmail address, and hit return twice.

it's that easy!
