The first image is a logo that I created some time ago with POV-Ray for the 3D Action Gamers' Archive.

The second image is some text that I typed with the standard text tool over a transparent background. I added the shadow effect with Script-Fu / Shadow / Drop-Shadow, using an offset of 2.

Before doing the merge, I had to convince my script that the first image was some kind of animation, so I simply duplicated the same layer 15 times in order to have 16 frames in the final animation. Then I ran the script and specified a final offset of 256 for the top layer (text).
