AstroNet is the name of network of Sternberg Astronomical Institute, Moscow University. Currently, we have full Internet connectivity at 115 Kbps via leased line to our Internet Provider The Radio-MSU Network since 1993. We have setup an Internet link and lan in our Crimean Observatory (fall of 1995). We plan to establish 10 Mbps connection via fiber-optical line to Radio-MSU network. AstroNet is the biggest astronomical site in Russia, please visit our anonymous ftp-server. We plan to provide the world of astronomical community with access to data archives and observations via FTP and WWW services, develope cooperation between astronomical organisations (data exchange, remote observations).
