Supernova 2011ix and 2011jj in MCG +5-4-59

This page is devoted to information on 2011ix in MCG +5-4-59 (= PGC 5364).   Basic information on this SN, including the last reported brightness, on this Supernova can be found on the main page.   Information on the original web pages for many of these images can be found on the links web page.

image Discovered by Tom Boles (UK).   This one is a Type II.   We have a Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.   This supernova is in the Constellation Pisces.

image Discovered by Catalina Real-Time Transient Survey and Stan Howerton (USA).   Just as 2011ix faded into oblivion 2011jj showed up.   Type was is also a Type IIP.   Joseph Brimacombe actually has a few images showing both objects.
