Supernova 2002dv and 2002eg in UGC 11486

Discoved by LOTOSS. This is a very dim type II, found in a distant galaxy. Normally, not worth comment. We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.

Ella Sanders discovered this one, the thrid double SN in four months, almost a stastical impossibility. Ella was researching galaxies which with previous discoveries in them when she found this one. Turned out to be another type II, but much brighter than 2002dv. Icon generated from the Ella's discovery image.
