First Announcement

 

The conference "Astronomy - 2005: Current State and Prospects" is to be held in Moscow, Russia, on May 30 - June 6, 2005, in the frame of the Scientific Program of the 8th General Meeting of the Eurasian Astronomical Society. The main goal of the Symposium is to analyze the current state and possible prospect of astronomical science and work out a strategy of its development. The program of the symposium will include plenary sessions and seven optional sections (workshops) on the main topics of modern astronomy and astrophysics. Discussion of scientific results in the entire field of astronomical science is to take place on both plenary and sectional sessions.
