Barred galaxies

NGC 6951

This galaxy was observed September, 23 2000 in the Ha emission line, Texp=32x120 sec, seeing 2.5", IFP260. Author of the observational program is A.V. Moiseev . Two types of non-circular motions are revealed in the circumnucelr region: radial flows in the large-scale bar (r=30''-55'') and gas motions in the nuclear minispiral spiral (r=1-8'').
Top — the velocity field in the Ha line. The box cuts out the region for which the image of the circumnuclear star formation ring in Ha with lines of equal radial velocities is presented at the bottom. The right- and left-hand panels give examples of Gauss approximation of the profiles of the emission lines Ha and [NII]6583A in the nucleus and circumnuclear ring.

The multiple ionized shells in the IC 1613

The author of this observational program is T.A. Lozinskaya). The dwarf irregular galaxy IC 1613 was observed at the 6m telescope in September, 12 2001 in the Ha with IFP501, Texp=36x200 sec, seeing 1.8".

The position-velocity diagrams for four scans marked on the left image.
We constructed velocity ellipses for all H II shells in the complex and refined (increased) the expansion velocities of most of them. The nature of the interacting ionized and neutral shells is discussed by Lozinskaya et al (2003, Astronomy Letetrs, 29, 77, astro-ph/0301214).

Jets from young stellar objects

Helical structure in outflow from proto-stellar source VLA 1

The nest of outflow sources in HL/XZ Tau region was observed at the 6m telescope in September, 18 2001 in the Ha with IFP501, Texp=36x160 sec, seeing 0.8''.
The monochromatic images of the region around HL and XZ Tau corresponding to different line-of-sight velocities. The cross marks a source of the jet (VLA 1) located between XZ Tau (on the left) and HL Tau (on the right), which separated on a distance 25''.

Jet from PV Cep associated with reflection cone

PV Cep was observed at the 6m telescope in May, 25 2003 in the [SII] 6716A with IFP501, Texp=36x200 sec, seeing 1.0".
Left panel: Monochromatic image in [SII] 6716 line (colour scale) superposed on the continuum (isolines). Right panel: Radial velocities in [SII] 6716 line (colour scale) superposed on the monochromatic image (isolines).

Velocities of stars in globular clusters

M 71

The globular cluster M 71 was observed at the 6m telescope in September, 12 2001 in the Ha with IFP501, Texp=36x120 sec, seeing 1.5". From gaussian fitting of the absorption line we have measured radial velocities more than 700 stars.
Image in the filter SED707

Velocities of individual stars in the globular cluster M71. The diameters of the circles are proportional to the stellar magnitude, the colour — to the radial velocity according to the scale at the top. Examples are shown of Ha absorption in the spectra of two stars and their Gauss fitting.
