The secondary mirror of feed cabin No. 5 has augmented overall dimensions as compared with mirrors No. 1 - 3 and meant for effective operation with flaps on top and bottom of RATAN-600 circular reflector (figure 1).

The feed cabin can to move as well on radial as on circular railways. Feed cabin Nr. 5 enables long tracking of radio sources at the Southern sector in combination with the Flat reflector as the cabin is moved on the arch rails.
