Photometric study of pulsars and their fields.
Observations and results.

A search for and investigation of optical rediation of pulsars and candidates into isolated neutron stars has been carried out in SAO RAS in cooperation with Astro-Space Center of Physical Institute of RAS (V.G.Kurt), Ioffe Physical-Technical Institute (Yu.A.Shibanov, A.B.Koptsevich), Penn State University (G.G.Pavlov)), Observatorio Astronomico Nacional SPM (S.V.Zharikov), Yamagata University (N. Kawai, Y. Urata), Rikkyo University of Tokyo (S. Shibata, N. Shibazaki)

The most complete data are now obtained for two objects: PSR B0656+14 and Geminga (PSR J0633+1746). BVRI spectra have been built, with features of possible non-thermal neture.

The data were also obtained for the following objects:

PSR B0950+08 (characteristic age τ = 107 years, distance d ~ 260 pc) - a candidate for optical identification, R=25.53m ± 0.25, S/N ~ 3.5. To confirm the identification and to study optical features of this NS the further BVI observations are necessary.

PSR J0814+7429 (τ = 108 years, d ~ 310 pc) - the limit of optical brightness of the object in R band is Rc > 25.5m.

PSR J0108-1431 (τ = 108 years, d ~ 80 pc) - upper 3σ-limits of the pulsar magnitude are:
B > 24.9m; V > 24.4m; Rc > 24.1m; Ic > 23.3m.

PSR J1908+0734 (τ = 4 · 106 years, d ~ 580 pc) - upper 3σ-limits of maagnitude (without allowing for reddening) were obtained to be:
B > 26.0m, V > 26.1m, Rc > 25.9m, Ic > 23.4m.

PSR B1951+32 (τ = 1.1 · 105 years, d ~ 2.37 kpc) - deep BVRI images of the field were first obtained where the nucleus of the supernova CTB80 remnant associated with this nova is clearly seen. The results of photometry allow statement that the offered candidates into optical pulsar are emission knots of the nebula and background stars.

PSR B2334+61 (τ = 4.1 · 104 years, d ~ 2.47 kpc) - BVRI images of the field were first obtained. The prelliminary results allow statement of detection in R band of an object coinciding in coordinates (within precision of astrometric refrence) with a radio pulsar. To confirm identification and construction of spectrum the further deeper observations are necessary.
