Abstract

A brief description of the new speckle camera developed by the Astronomical Observatory Ramón María Aller of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in cooperation with the Special Astrophysical Observatory (Russia) is presented. It has been coupled to 1.52 m telescope of the E.O.C.A. (Calar Alto, Spain) during several observing runs in 1999-2001 obtaining more than 800 observations of binary stars. After a short comments on several systems of special interest, some improved (by our speckle measurements) binary star orbits are given.
