Dual-mode Cooled CCD Cameras: C4880-Series
The C4880 camera series are high resolution, high dynamic range digital
cameras. They incorporate two software selectable readout rates and are
cooled to reduce thermal noise.
These features provide a choice of readout speed (lower speeds reduce readout
noise) and long exposure times for maximum sensitivity. The ability to
focus rapidly with the entire image in view then immediately switch to
a high precision readout mode provide fast throughput and specimen protection
for delicate samples. Binning and Sub-array features provide additional
sensitivity and even faster frame rates.
A wide variety of CCD detectors and cooling options are available to meet
almost any requirements
