 2001:

Interferometric observations in the infrared range at the 6-m BTA telescope, 10-m Keck telescope and at the 6.5-m MMT telescope revealed that the star Gliese 569V near the Sun is a young system of brown dwarfs. The dynamic mass of each of the three components is less than 50 Jupiter masses. The temperature in the cores of these objects is not sufficient for hydrogen burning, and they emit only through the gravitational contraction.
In collaboration with the MPIFR (Germany) and W.M. Keck Observatory (USA).

The environs of a massive oxygen Wolf-Rayet-type star in our Galaxy we studied with the RATAN-600 at the 21cm hydrogen line. The star is in a critical phase before going supernova. An expanding hydrogen envelope was detected and the estimates of its age and stellar wind strength were obtained, which indicate the relatively short duration of the rapid wind stage in the evolution of this massive star.

For the first time cyclic spectral variations in the microquasar CI Cam with a period of 1100 days were discovered from the observations with the BTA and the 1-m telescope of the SAO. A relativistic object in pair with a cool giant star with a measured orbital period can be the source of relativistic jets.
In collaboration with the SAI MSU.
