There are many organization which take care about our environment. Here there are some of them: Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. We want to tell you about ecological organization called the Friend's of The Earth. It is a well-organized non party-political, national pressure group. Part of an international network covering 28 different countries. Our campaigners seek to make people aware of the key issues and publicise the environmental case on TV, radio and in the press. We lobby politicians and government bodies. We press for changes is a law and in policies decided by the Town Hall or Whitehall. For example, our Natural Heritage Bill aims to protect special nature sites. We fought plans to build a nuclear reprocessing plant at Windscale.
