Welcome to 1952 project
Our
school has entered IEARN only in 2000. But the opportunities given by this
organization have caused the big interest of our pupils.
As the
teacher of foreign language, I am very much interested
in the theme “ the Greatest discoveries and inventions of XX- th century.” I
think, the pupils can work in that field of science, which interests them more:
chemistry, physics, biology, etc. Also all these works are submitted necessarily
and in English. It will allow them to improve the knowledge both in the field of
natural sciences, and in the field of English language. Age of pupils, who take
part in the given projects, are 15-17 years.
Among other things, I have put the task before the pupils
that they should not only describe any discovery or the invention, which, has
changed life of people on our planet but also they should manage to analyze the
advantages and the lacks of this discovery. It is necessary to think over, what
this discovery has brought more in our world, the blessings or evil? I would
like the pupils to estimate these discoveries for the future generations.
During
last year we thought in our pedagogical collective about the creation of a student's scientific. I think, the work
above these projects is a first step to creation of such organization.
We
shall be glad, if our works cause you the response. We
shall be glad to answer any questions and offers.
