The rock music has a big influence on the life of teenagers. It has a big meaning in the forming of teenager's outlook. Altogether, fans of rock group (for example: Russian rock group) usually are read more than fans of pop music. This will entail with more complicated, more emotionally saturated words of rock songs. And because fans will stay like their idols, they read the books, which are reading from the
musicians of their favorite groups. Fans of rock groups, by compression with fans of pop
groups, often play musical instruments yourself (for example: the guitar). Many people say: "Rock is dead". It's false! 80% of teenagers listen now rock music. They create the fan clubs, which are dedicated to rock group. One of rock group can have many fan clubs. Fans been together gladly: they can discuss the creation of favorite groups together, can go to the concerts together and
so on. Many youth companies consist of fans of rock group.

SOMETHING ABOUT AQUARIUM
Boris was arguably the biggest underground rock star of the former Soviet Union. It's a little hard to tell, exactly, because until quite recently the Russian rock scene operated on different rules; no zillion-dollar contracts, no gold and platinum records, just menial day jobs, homemade cassettes passed from hand to hand, and evenings spent playing for friends. At least,
that's the way it was. Boris and his band, a bunch of hippie types who call themselves Aquarium, were among the first to benefit from - and pay for - all the things that have changed, but that's another story.
Until certain signals were transmitted in the late '80s, Soviet bureaucrats wouldn't even admit to Boris' existence. But people throughout the former Soviet Union gave him flowers on the street. More than one Sovietologist put him into the tradition of poets Osip Mandelstam and Yvgeny Yevtushenko, men who served as the voices of earlier generations.
One of Aquarium's underground cassette recordings was finally released - "appropriated," one might more accurately say - by Melodiya, the Soviet state record label, in 1988. An American friend, Ken Schaffer, negotiated with Soviets authorities for almost a year before convincing them to issue Boris a visa to make his first trip outside the USSR. During BG's first two-week trip, in late 1989, Kenny and his friends introduced Boris to Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Laurie Anderson, David Bowie, George Harrison, Frank Zappa and Dave Stewart, and accepted CBS Records' offer for an album to be recorded in the West.
Boris' Columbia Records debut was released in the summer of the next year, and that's another matter.
The album, Radio Silence, was an attempt at fusing Russian soul with Western technology. By turns hard-edged and romantic, it's the work of someone whose music owes a debt to David Bowie and the Beatles, but whose lyrics, whether in English or in Russian, come from somewhere else entirely.
Probably the album "didn't work." Due to constraints of time, impetus, or what - the album turned out to be something less than Boris Grebenshikov. Boris - whose Russian work is relatively sparse, heavily acoustic, and full of technical errors -
was lost, from time to time, homogenized out in a co-ed chorus, and multiplied and thick "Western" effects.
Boris wrote the 10 English language songs himself. (He learned English, at first, via the Beatles, on VOA. He speaks the language better than most natives.)
Boris and Dave Stewart, one half of the Eurhythmics, recorded the album in London, Montreal, New York and Los Angeles with vocal contributions from Annie Lennox (Stewart's partner) and Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders.
Michael Apted, the British director who made the highly acclaimed 28 Up, Coal Miner's Daughter, Gorillas in the Mist and Nell, filmed a 90 minute documentary, The Long Way Home, that followed Boris, Aquarium, Kenny and Stewart through the slings and arrows of breaking this record, and culminated with the Eurhythmics and Aquarium onstage together in Leningrad. DDT
This story began at the hot summer days in Ufa, when young man - Yuri Shefchuk came to local house of amateur activity. There four men: Rustem Asanbaev, Genadiy Rodin, Vladimir Sigachev and Rustem Karimov were drinking beer and playing they favorite songs of Europeans groups. Shefchuk came for a few minutes, but still can't go out. That is how DDT borned. After this Shefchuc newer leaves DDT, although the KGB persecute him for they songs.
Shefchuc will live more than he could. It will live in us, in our hearts! Hi is popular only, maybe, like Zoy! Hi is always with Russian people! Evidence of this is that he has made about fifty concerts for Russians solders at the Chechnya.
DDT today it's incarnate of all Russian rock! It's the life! (If you want to learn more about DDT you may go to their official site
