image Discovered independently by Lick Observatory Supernova Search (USA) and Koichi Itagaki (Japan).   This is a type II supernova.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the Itagaki discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Aries.
