sn06dy_i.jpg Discovered by Koichi Itagaki (Japan).   This one is a nicely placed type Ia found on the rise.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Bootes.
