sn00db_i.gif Masakatsu Aoki discovered this supernova in a fairly bright Mag 11.5 galaxy in southern part of UMa. This is an easy evening object for most of the northern hemisphere. We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal. Icon created from the Masakatsu Aoki discovery image.
