Another intrensically bright nearby SN. This one didn't get as much coverage as 1999em or 1999gi. It was a type II, and it maxed out at mag 15.5 on or about December 27th. This one was discovered by P. Berlind of CfA

  • CfA Spectrum shows a type II supernova with a peculiar double Halpha absorption. The supernova was discovered by Perry Berlind observing on the FLWO 1.5m.
