MERIDIAN VOICE MESSAGING SYSTEM

Log in to access your mailbox so you can play your message and use all the other Voice Messaging features. Can log in from any touch tone phone.

Log In

1. Dial the access number 7000
2. Press #
3. Enter your password [default is your extension], then press #

Changing Your Password

1. Log in system
2. Dial 84
3. Dial your new password [between 4 to 16 digits]
4. Press #
5. Repeat your password and # to confirm
6. Dial your old password and #

Playing Your Messages

1. After you log in, listen to the mailbox summary
2. Listen to the first message envelope or go to Step 3
3. Press 2 to play the message
4. During the message:
   • press 1 to skip back and 3 to skip forward
   • # to pause and 2 to continue
   • 6 to go to next message
   • to go to specific message, press 8 6, message number and #
   • 7 6 to delete message and during same session 7 6 will restore deleted message
   • 9 to call person who left the message [if internal]

Replying To Messages

1. After listening to the message press 7 1 to reply to sender
2. Press 5 to record your reply
3. Press # when finished recording
4. Press 7 9 to send message

Express Mail [Internal]

1. Select extension
2. Dial the Express Mail code 7001
3. Dial the mailbox number and # [if you don’t know the mailbox number use the directory]
4. After the tone leave your message
5. Hang up

Transfer to Express Mail

1. Transfer the call to the Express Mail code 7001
2. Dial the mailbox number and #
3. End your transfer

Access Your Mailbox Remotely

1. Dial the system pilot number 878-2612
2. Dial the Meridian Mail access 7000 8
3. Dial the mailbox number and password
