On January 19, 2013 the Pre-College Saturday Research Academy at the Arecibo Observatory began for the Spring 2013 semester. Dr. Robert Kerr, Arecibo Observatory Director gave a welcome to the pre-college students and parents present at the Arecibo Observatory Learning Center on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The pre-college students will be mentored by Luisa Zambrano from Caribbean University and scientists from NASA/AMES as well as Dr. Bernard Fleck from NASA Goddard.
