Over 458 people from the academic and scientific community from Puerto Rico as well as general public participated in this activity. This activity was organized by the staff of the †Ángel Ramos Foundation Visitor Center with the collaboration of the Astronomy Society of Puerto Rico. This activity serves as a motivator to create interest in astronomy as well as to promote the Arecibo Observatory facility. The participants also had the chance to view the exhibits at the †Ángel Ramos Foundation Visitor Center as well as to view the new Arecibo Observatory movie at the AO Amphitheater.
