Questions/Discussion:

Bob B. To deal with narrow band RFI from, e.g., radars, what possibilities are there for using notched filters?
Lisa In principle, yes, but we want to avoid cutting out parts of useable band.
Bob B. But then there could be problems with dynamic range.
Lisa True
Riccardo What about putting in a filter to block the range below 1300 MHz.
Ganesh We would need a switchable filter bank at the front end and that's tough.
Phil P. There is limited space on rotary floor. If you built a filter bank, you'd have a problem with space.
Desh It is important to allow for as much dynamic range as possible.
Bob B. Filter at IF might work to get rid of everything at low frequencies, below the desired band.
