Polarimetric and single-pulse observations of the intermittent pulsar J1832+0032

We request 1.5 hr of Arecibo time at 1400 MHz to carry out high signal-to-noise ratio observations of the intermittent pulsar J1832+0029 at 1.4 GHz using the PUPPI backend. In addition to characterizing the polarization and energy distribution of single pulses, we seek to constrain the radio emission geometry by attempting to fit a rotating vector model to the integrated pulse profile. If successful, this would provide a direct test of a recently proposed model to explain the intermittent behavior in this and similar pulsars.
