High-Precision Millisecond Pulsar Timing: Velocities and Evolution

We request observations once a month in the LST range 17:4520:00, for a total of 27 hours over one year, to continue timing four millisecond pulsars. Three of these pulsars are fairly new, discovered in the Parkes Multibeam Pulsar Survey, while the fourth is well-known but has proved to be an excellent "timer" with our modern backend. We demonstrate how these observations will improve our understanding of the pulsar proper motions and evolution. These ob jects are also invaluable assets to the gravitational-wave-background timing array pro ject.
