Deep search for the radio pulsar powering the TeV binary HESS J0632+057

We ask for 12 hour of observations with Arecibo in search for an energetic pulsar possibly powering the newly discovered TeV binary HESS J0632+057, which has a 320days orbital period. Previous observations detected continuum radio emission from this TeV binary, but radio pulsar searches failed to detect pulsations. The enormous sensitivity of Arecibo can finally detect the pulsar or put the most stringent limits on its presence. If a pulsar is found, this will close the long-standing question of the TeV emission of HESS J0632+057 being powered by en energetic pulsar or by the jet emitted by an accreting compact ob ject.
