Imaging Diffuse Intergalactic 430-MHz Emission in the Perseus-Pisces Superclus-

ter
ABSTRACT:
We request to extend, at 430 MHz, the 8 degrees x 8 degrees map we observed in the Perseus-Pisces (P-P) supercluster (pro ject A2125), in a zone where Galaxy redshift data show 2 or more intersecting LSS filaments. Our original 8 degrees x 8 degrees map revealed large-scale structures, which are not fully covered by our original observations. The same extension around our original map will be imaged by us with the DRAO interferometer, where night-time observations have been planned for this fall. The AO and DRAO data will be combined to remove confusing discrete sources, and to search for faint intergalactic synchrotron radiation on all scales down to the resolution limit of 4'. This method has already led to the successful detection of diffuse radio glow in part of the Coma supercluster.
