2014 ISR Summer School

The 2014 ISR Summer School will be held at Arecibo Observatory July 21-26, 2014. The school is a week-long course for undergraduate and graduate students. The students spend the mornings in lectures with experts from the field. Afternoons at the school are dedicated to hands-on experiments involving ISRs around the world. The school organizers divide the students into groups of five to seven, mixing students with varying education levels and degrees of previous exposure to the topic. The students are instructed to include all members in their group work. While these groups are expected to operate autonomously, the summer school staff remains nearby, accessible for questions and discussions. The week' s program is designed to facilitate daily progress toward the completion of an experiment.
