ALFA monitoring observations of FRB130628

Recent Arecibo observations of FRB121102 have discovered that it repeats and opened the question of whether all FRBs can be observed to repeat given sufficient sensitivity and observing time. Repeat bursts are a powerful clue because they rule out cataclysmic progenitor models. Here we propose to continue searching for repeat bursts from the only Parkes-discovered FRB that is visible to Arecibo, namely FRB130628. The discovery of even a single burst from FRB130628 at the same DM would strengthen the case that (at least) a large fraction of FRBs have non-cataclysmic progenitors.
