Proposal Title: Incoherent scatter radar measurements of the electron gyroline in the topside
ionosphere over Arecibo
ABSTRACT:
We propose to expand our knowledge of the the plasma physics behind the electron or gyro resonance line in the
ISR backscatter spectrum. In the long term this knowledge will lead to better experimental techniques for studying
the topside ionospheric dynamics, composition and temperature.
