Proposal Title: Follow-up timing observations of newly discovered pulsars
ABSTRACT:
This proposal seeks time to carry out a series of regular observations to establish timing solutions for nine pulsars
discovered as a result of a recent 430 MHz drift scan search with the Arecibo telescope. We are requesting 30 hours
of observing time over the course of 12 months. This should be suфcient to accurately determine astrometric and
spin parameters of the neutron stars, as well as to determine the presence of any orbiting companions over this
time interval. In addition, we hope to use part of the time to con rm a number of very promising pulsar candidates
that have turned up during the analysis of recently collected data.
