Proposal Title: Timing Observations of Two Pulsars Associated With Supernova Remnants
ABSTRACT:
A continuation of long-term timing measurements of two pulsars, PSR J0538+28 and PSR B1853+01, known to be
associated with supernova remnants, is proposed. The goals of this project include monitoring of timing activity
(glitch behavior), astrometry, and a study of dispersion measure variations. The Penn State Pulsar Machine
(PSPM) will be used for data acquisition.
