Proposal Title: URGENT PROPOSAL FOR RADAR OBSERVATIONS OF ASTEROID 1999FN53
ABSTRACT:
This recently discovered object, classied as a potentially hazardous asteroid by the Minor Planet Center,
approaches to within 0.06 AU from Earth during the requested tracks. Its eective diameter probably is between
0.5 and 1.0 km. The echo strength should support decameter-resolution imaging and, if the orientational coverage
is adequate, reconstruction of a geologically detailed shape model.
