-Run DRUDGE on the .skd file.

type: drudg
(drudg will ask what you want from this point on)

One thing to make sure of, is to make a SNAP file. This will be
the file that runs the S2-FS.

-You are now ready to run the Field System.

type: fs

-This will present two(2) windows. One is a logging window and the other
is a command window.

-Now you are ready to begin a schedule which you have created with drudg.

Load the tapes at this point keeping in mind the tape number.

Command window type: schedule=name,#1 (where name is your schedule and
and #1 says to start at line 1
of the schedule)
example: schedule=vt829,#1

A message will appear in the logging window that says it needs a
label.

Command window type: label=CSA# (CSA# is the tape number of the
tape you could do this before
starting the schedule)

example: label=CSA,3,000123

Now you are ready and the tapes are ready to be recorded. When the time
has arrived the S2-FS will start recording, and after recording it will
rewind the tapes and eject them.

-Experiment(s) is/are over. Tapes are ready for shippment.

Review SHIPPING and DELIVERING on the S2-FAQ web page.

The FS has a number of commands that can be used. These are called SNAP
commands used either from a script .skd file or from the operators command line
window. Information on this can be found in a green and black three(3) binder
next to the PC. There is much information in this binder, and it is all divided
into sections by dividers with clear labels. The index you want to go to is
under SNAP Language and SNAP Commands.

The binders Title: "Mark IV Field System Volume 1"

NOTE: Information on Operators Ref. and Experiment Ops. in the same binder are
recommended reading.
