Co-existing with other spectrum users

For the frequency-agile upgraded Arecibo Telescope, there are bands where Radio Astronomy has either no regulatory protection, only a "secondary" status or, at best, a "shared-primary" status. In these bands, observations can only be carried out either by utilizing RFI-excision techniques or in coordination with other users.
