Scientific Interests
My primary research projects are the Arecibo L-band Feed Array (ALFA) extra-galactic neutral hydrogen (HI) surveys. I am PI of the Arecibo Galaxy Environment Survey (AGES) and have a strong involvement with the ALFA Zone of Avoidance (ALFA ZOA) Survey, both of which study HI in the local universe. I am also part of the ALFA Ultra Deep Survey (AUDS) investigating HI at z > 0.1 and a number of smaller, targetted, HI projects. Outside of neutral hydrogen studies, I am co-PI of the ALFA Radio Recombination Lines survey, the Survey for Ionized Gas in the Galaxy, Made with Arecibo (SIGGMA) and have a strong involvement in a number of molecular line surveys.
