These instructions allow you to use Analyz to look at the
RFI-monitoring data (from the hilltop monitor) online.
Note that you must be logged into an Arecibo computer
in order to run this program.
To Run the Program:
On an xterm, type:
slogin -l <user_name> pat
cd /share/mosquito1/rfi
analyz
rfi
corv2
imdef
clearall
edit atondata
(put in the appropriate date)
atondata
imload
imd 1
(this is to look at the first record)
imn (to display the next record)
copy (to create a hard copy of the currently displayed plot)
If you wish to restrict yourself to a certain band
(a complete list of bands is below), type:
imfreq <freq>
imn (to display the next record in that band)
To load more data as time goes on, you will have to do the following:
rewind
imdef
clearall
imload
Note: the usual analyz commands, like "hor" and "ver" work just fine here.
