Frequency Switching

Although is it technically feasible to observe in frequency switching mode at Arecibo, we do NOT support frequency switching at the moment. This is due to the (so far) unpredictable nature of the standing waves in the data, which makes frequency switched data essentially useless. The possibility of using Arecibo in frequency switching mode is still being investigated, and hopefully it will someday become an option.
