We have received a ROM cost from IC Optical Systems, based on a verbal coating spec.

Points to mention in reply to ICOS:

• Do the fabrication tolerances meet our spec ?
  • lambda/10 flatness but we asked for lambda/20
• Beamsplitter coating performance not good enough
• Is button approach still feasible?
• What overcoat is assumed for the silver full reflector mirrors?

JC will send a preliminary coating spec to SESO, in order to elicit a comparable ROM estimate.
